Jumps



Incorporating jumps into the level adds interesting outcomes, making it more exciting and entertaining for the player. Elements like this gives the level a sense of scale and flow, it also keeps the player immersed while playing. The top drawing idea could be interesting because if the player doesn't pick up enough speed before the jump, they may end up in the canal/river which would be game over. I plan to add several challenging aspects into this level.


The drawing above is an idea for a hidden shortcut, several of these may be added within my level.
